Shirdi witnessed the world-wide launch of the website 'SHIRDI SAI GLOBAL FOUNDATION’ today, by Revered Dr. CB Satpathy, on the eve of Global Sai Summit.

Dr. C. B. Satpathy is the Founder Chairman of the above stated Foundation, and he has devoted his entire life to spread the message of Sri Shirdi Saibaba in India and abroad.

The 'Shirdi Sai Global Foundation' is an umbrella organization, patronizing about three hundred Sai temples/trusts/forums/community centers/ philanthropic and charitable institutions worldwide. The Foundation is dedicated to provide information, guideline and support to institutions associated with it, in India and abroad in carrying on Shri Sai movement.

Besides holding international conferences regarding the Sai movement, the Foundation has been instrumental in spreading Sai's message through various events through Book fairs , Annual Vasant Utsavs, Kumbha Melas at Allahabad, Haridwar, Nasik, Vijayawada, Rajmahendri and Garh Mukteshwar etc . In future, it aims to hold conferences across the globe, including different places in USA, Africa, Canada, Europe , Australia, New Zealand and south East Asia.

Dr.C.B. Satpathy is also an eminent multilingual writer and has authored several books on spirituality, cosmology, and the holy tradition of the Gurus in India. His books have been translated in many regional and foreign languages.

The Foundation globalizes the Shirdi Sai Movement. It wants to establish meaningful relationship with other trusts, associations and societies carrying on with similar objectives of human development by spreading Shirdi SaiBaba’s philosophy, deeds and name. The Foundation also works in the area of popularizing different forms of Indian culture.

Following the principles of service to humanity established by Shri Saibaba, this Foundation aims to carry on with its multi faceted philanthropic activities like providing free medical facilities to the denied sections of society, establishing educational institutions of excellence, helping and supporting the differently abled component of society, as also rendering timely help to victims of natural disasters and calamities like floods, earthquakes etc.
