The 18th Vasant Utsav was celebrated on the Vasant Panchami day in Sai Ka Aangan Temple complex, Gurugram under the patronage of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation. Dr. C.B. Satpathy ji was the Chief Guest in the Vasant Utsav celebrations that were attended by a large number of devotees and trustees of Sai Baba temples in India and abroad. The main features of the cultural program consisted of a prayer sung by devotees, group dance by the children of Sai ka Aangan, bhajan by Sniti Mishra and a play performed by a professional group and some Sai devotees called `Samay ki Nazaron Sae’ that portrayed the spiritual awakening of Swami Vivekananda and his service to mankind, under the guidance of his Guru.

In his address, Dr. Satpathy ji stated that during Sai Baba’s time lots of similar cultural activities took place in the Dwarkamai Masjid in Shirdi, for decades. Following in His footsteps, Shirdi Sai Global Foundation encourages staging of cultural activities in temples in order to promote the Indian cultural heritage in our country and abroad, besides carrying on with the philanthropic activities.
