Shirdi Sai Global Foundation endeavours to achieve the goal of providing welfare for the weaker and needy section of the society through running of free dispensaries, organising medical camps, setting up camps for benefit of public on occasions like Garh Mela, Kumbh Mela etc and providing contribution to other organisations / individuals working towards the welfare of the society. The Foundation takes up such initiatives in both India and internationally.

Medical Assistance Programs

The Foundation runs medical dispensaries at many places in India, eg- Noida, Uttar Pradesh and Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The medical dispensary in Noida is a multi-speciality dispensary with specialist doctors in the discipline of Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Oncology, Dental, Ophthalmology and Homoeopathy etc help patients from the weaker section of the society with their medical problems. The objective of the Foundation is to bring the health care services of the specialist doctors to the poor and needy, which is not otherwise easily available to them. Free medicine is distributed to all the patients. On an average the dispensary at Noida takes care of about 5,500 patients every year. Since 2005, more than 50,000 people have been benefited from the initiative.

Distribution of Food and Clothing:

  • The centre at Noida, Uttar Pradesh has taken up an initiative to give food to the poor and needy on a daily basis. The program is carried out 26 days in every month. Currently, on an average, 3,000 people are fed every month under this program. Similar programs are carried out at the centres located at Bhubaneswar and Berhampur in the State of Odisha, India.
  • The centre at Noida, Uttar Pradesh sends food packets to a nearby Government Hospital and milk for the students to a nearby Government School, on a daily basis. This program is being carried out since 2003. The hygiene and quality of the food items is specially emphasised by the Foundation.

Organising Camps for Public Welfare

Shirdi Sai Global Foundation, in association with Shri Shirdi Sai Karuna Sansthan, Moradabad and Shri Sai Baba Manokamna Mandir Seva Dham Trust, Dehradun organised a Shirdi Sai camp at Haridwar, on the occasion of Ardh Kumbh Mela, 2016 in order to help people congregating from all over India and abroad for taking part in auspicious kumbh festival. The camp was inaugurated on 14.01.2016 and was operated till 15.03.2016. The facilities at the camp included a prayer hall, lodging facilities, medical facilities for people and food distribution facility for the needy.

Social Welfare initiatives in West Bengal

Sai Kripa Bangla Sansthan, Kolkata, a charitable Trust is an associate organisation of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation. The Trust has taken up a wide range of activities including Skill Development Training especially among widows and women belonging to the economically and socially weaker sections in the backward districts, such as South-24 Parganas, of West Bengal. The trust emphasizes on imparting quality training so that the trainees come up to the level where they can be organized as SHGs and then take up gainful employment activities. The young children from these weaker sections are provided Basic Computer training followed by an Industrial Electronics Course.
The trust also regularly distributes clothes, utensils, and food items among the poorest and the needy in the backward districts. Among the beneficiaries are also included the much talked about “tiger widows”(widows of a fishermen who have been killed by tigers in the Sunderbans).
